Designed as an affordable option for mountain bikes with a boost rear axle – and either 29" or 27.5" In wheel sizes – the acid mtb race hpa wheelset makes use of cube high performance aluminium for the 30 mm wide rim, pinned at the joint for strength and durability. Industrial bearings ensure a long service life even in tough riding conditions, and thru axles secure the wheels to the frame. Disc rotors can be attached via a centerlock mount. The 32 j-bend spokes are laced in a three-cross pattern, whilst sse improves the seating of nipples at the rim for a truer, stronger wheel build – and, with the right rim tape, it's possible to use tubeless tyres.
